Reading Group on Robert Brandom

First meeting:

Monday 22 October from 14.00 to 15.00 in NIG room 3A (3rd floor)

Robert Brandom will be giving the Brentano lectures next year, 8 - 10 April 2019. We will also be hosting a workshop at the same time, devoted to some key Brandomian themes.

In preparation for the lectures and the workshop I am organising a reading group on Brandom's most important work, Making it Explicit (Harvard University Press, 1994). The group would be both for those who are new to Brandom and those who may have read and worked on Brandom before. The idea would be to discuss one chapter in each meeting, and to meet every two or three weeks, starting in mid-October.
